Zofia Kaliszuk

Zofia Kaliszuk excells at making towels and makatka tapestries characteristic for Podlasie and Southern Podlasie.  She picked up basic knowledge and skills from her mother, so it’s safe to say that she’s been involved inj the craft since her childhood. The work of ethnographers helped her gain more knowledge and new techniques.  She’s a memeber of Folk Artists’ Association. In 2018, she won third prize in the 7th Folk Art Contest “The Beauty of Meshes. In the world of lace and cut-outs“.
