Wojciech Świątkowski

Lawyer by education, but because of multigenerational traditions running in his family he is a basket braider. Wojciech is a practicing master of his profession and currently also its teacher and propagator. His works for outdoors or contests are feature, among others, in Museum of Wickerwork and Hop-growing. For over 10 years, he has been a member of the Polish National Association of Braiders and wickerwork makers and he actively takes part in all of its activities. A member of the Folk Artists’ Association and a member of the Examination Board at the Lublin Chamber of Crafts. She runs his own basket making workshop in Leszno, where he uses only willow materials in many varieties. He presents, among others,  shopping baskets, decorating baskets and household baskets.
