Wiesława Kucharzyk

The tradition of straw plaiting dates back several generations in Wiesława Kurcharzyk’s family. Grandfather plaited hats and straw boots, her mother made Chirstmas tree ornamens and finally Wiesława and her sisters picked up these traditions. The artist makes rye straw items (hats, angels, goats, bells) and compositions of dry flowers, grasses and herbs. Wiesława is a member of Folk Artists’ Association.
