Vartan Markarian
Artisanal Handicrafts, Stamping and stamp making
Vartan Markarian is a young Poltavan artist who creates paintings on glass and wooden stamps he uses to decorate fabrics. He studied painting at Poltava National Technical University. He aquired skills and a love for folk art at home as his parents are folk artists, mostly working with wood (traditional stamping). He’sa member of the Ukrainian Folk Artists’ Association.
