Teresa Kocus

She has been involved in folk crafts since childhood. From early on, she assited her mother in sewing folk costumes.
She sews costumes for ensembles, for instances “Mazowsze” or “Śląsk”. The works are made in hand and hand machine embroidery. Shawls, bags, belts, corsets are decorated using a pattern typical for łowicz embroidery – colourful flowers. Teresa has won many competitions and  awards of distinction. She is a member of Folk Artists’ Association in Lublin, a group in Łowicz and the traditional ensemble “Ksinzoki”.
