Stanisława Mąka

Stanisława has been active since 1970. She is self-taught. She observed the work of crafters at exhibitions and fairs and decided to try it herself.  She had her first successes in 1973 in the form of awards and distinctions. She paints, makes cutouts, pisanki. As she says,  inner need is an impulse for her work, she wants to pass on her knowledge to next generations. She has taken part in many exhibitions and contests in Lublin, Chełm, Toruń, Warsaw. She is a member of Folk Artists’ Association and Regional Chelm Association.
