Stanisława Majda

Stanisława Majda has been specialising in her craft since 1995, when she made her first Easter palm for a local contest. The interest in her work caused her to delve deeper into the secrets and techniques of mqaking crepe paper flowers, a tradition she remembered from her own home. She works with the Sądecki Ethnographic Park in Nowy Sącz, which lets her get acquainted with the heritage of Lachy Sądeckie. Stanisława makes traditional Lachy-style flower arrangements: Easter palms, wedding wands, pająki, wreaths and bouquets. She also specialises in crocheting. She’s a member of Folk Artists’ Association.
