Stanisława Kowalewska

Stanisława has been weaving since 1999.  Her mother weaved on a loom. In her work, Stanisława uses colourful yarns but black and red dominate. Mrs Kowalewska has been a member of Folk Artists’ Association since 1990. She was given awards of distinction at many contests, for instance in 2009 she received the honorary medal “For Merits in Service to Polish Culture” and in 2013 the Oskar Kolberg award.
