Natalia and Andriy Pokotylo

A mother and son, artists from Poltava. They specialise in Ukrainian embroidery.  They have been active since 2007, but it is a family tradition that Natialia has been taught since early childhood by her grandmother.

Natalia and her son  Andriy  mostly make embroidery on shirts- female, male and children’s.  The patterns they use come from various regions of Ukraine. They are mostly colourful and very rich, but some of them are more toned down. They mostly embroider using cotton and linen but  also use other fabrics.
