Márta Bencsik

Márta Bencsik specialises in plaitinbg straw and cornleaf. She makes hats as well as other decorative and objects of everyday use. She took her first steps with the help of her parents and later studied at a folk art school in  Békéscsaba, and gained an instructor’s certificate to teach this craft. She’s a member of the Bekes County Folk Art Association. She has won many awards and distinctions.
