Mariola Krzysztofik specialises in baking obwarzanki. She’s been making them since 1990. Before World War II, Mariola’s great grandfather ran a bakery where he baked obwarzanki, among other things. The entire process, from preparing to baking traditional breadstuff are made by hand and the products are baked in a ceramic furnance. Mrs Krzysztofik is a member of the Polish Chamber of Regional and Local Products and Slow Food International. Her work is entered in the list of traditional products of the Minostry og Agriculture and Rural Development under “obwarzanki tomaszowskie” (Tomaszów obwarzanki).
