Marcin Blachura

Marcin Blachura makes traditional instruments from Beskid Żywiecki. The bagpipes are made from fruit tress, and other shpeherd instruments from black elder. He’s been making the instruments since 2008. His bagpipes brought him, among others, the first award in Jan Kawulok and Feliks Jankowski Folk Music Building Contest in 2012 and a distinction in 5th National Folk Instruments Building Contest organized by Szydłowiec Museum in 2016. He is a member of Żywiec Pipers’ Guild.
