Jarosław Rodak

Ceramics and pottery

Mr Rodak has been making pottery since 1974. He has learned he technique from his uncle, Władysław Misiowiec from Rędocin. Jarosław makes jugs, pots, double jugs, containers that are glazed using green and brown coatings typical for the Rędocin centre.  Over time, Mr Rodak also took up sculpture. He uses clay to make mostly figures of saints, for which he has won many awards. The sculptures also have green and brown colours. Mr Rodak also offers small clay forms – birds, money boxes. He has been a member of Folk Artists’ Association since 1974. He has won many awards, including the Oskar Kolber Award in 20014 and in 2008he also received a ministerial scholarship.
