Gediminas Kairys

Gediminas Kairys got interested in wood carving around 40 years ago and even though there was no such tradition in his family,  his commitment allowed him to develop the skills on his own. At first, he treated wood sculpting as his hobby but over time it became something more. He makes wooden figures of birds and animals, toys, pipes, spoons, cutting boards, large bowls, spatulas. He has been a member of the Lithuanian Folk Artists’ Association.
