Elżbieta Pokora-Domańska

Ms Pokora has been involved in folk art since early childhood, she has been raised in a family of folk artists. Her main specialities are ritual art, embroidery and lace and Opoczno paper cut-outs. She also makes pająki (spider) decorations out of straw, pea and lupine.  She holds many diplomas  but the most important one, as she says, is the diploma she received for taking the first place in the Polish National Contest for pysanki eggs and Easter Palms in 1987 in Lublin.  Elżbieta is a member of Folk Artists’ Association.
