Darya Kananovich

For over 10 years, Dariya Kananovich has been specialising in traditional weaving, a craft she shares with her mother, Natallia. Dariya preserves techniques characterstic for central Belarus that she learns during field expeditions, among others. She teached folk crafts at the University in Minsk. She renovates costumes and embroideries. She’s a winner of many local and international awards. She’s a member of the Belarusian Folk Artists’ Association.
