Bolesław Parasion

Mr Parasion has been sculpting since 1980 and has been a member of the Folk Artists’ Association since 1985.  The themes of his work are mostly sacral – representations of saints, Way of the Cross, nativity scenes, Pensive Christ, Noe’s Arc. bolesław also touches on lay themes.  He has won many contests, for instance he took first place for best work presented during Poland-wide  Folk Art Fair in Kazimierz Dolny in 2008, first place for the the best Pomeranian Nativity Scene in 2006. In 1996 he won first place in an all-Poland competition “Christmas: traditions and modernity”.
