Andrei Hancharenko

Andrei Hancharenko has been specialising in woodwork since 1988. He reconstructs traditional folk toys following old designs and keeping traditional styles. He also makes wooden spoons and researches their regional features. He often uses art forms from nature. He takes part in folk art fairs and exhibitions as well as outdoor scuplting workshops. He has won many awards and distinctions.  He’s been a member of the Belarusian Folk Artists’ Association since 2013.
