Alicja Kochanowska

Alicja Kochanowska specialises in a very rare  weaving technique – double warp weaving. She has learned the technique from her mother, Genowefa Zaleska and has passed it on to younger generations during workshops run at a cultural centre. Alicja weaves carpets and tapestries featuring traditional patterns. Her weaving workshop is located along the Folk Crafts Trail of Podlasie. She is a member of Folk Artists’ Association.
