Agnieszka Jackowiak

Since 2000, Agnieszka has been deepening her knowledge of folk crafts by making utility items out of sheep wool inspired by Polish and Asian designs. She learned felting in Hungary. she is one of very few people in Poland who manually produce  felt items: caps and hats, shawls, bags, jewellery, decorative fabrics. Agnieszka also runs felting workshops. In 2008 she received scholarship from Creativity Promotion Fund for a project presenting felt on the internet and documenting Polish traditions of felting (valenki in Podlasie, broadcloth in Podhale an Orawa)
