Łążek was a pottery centre from as early as the 18th century. Its traditional forms and patterns are among some of the most beautiful in Poland. Adam Żelazko keeps up pottery traditions and his products are rich in colours and interesting ornaments. Rooster annd bird motifs, covering the utensils with a slip and the goblet shape of the pot are characterstic feaures of Łążek ceramics. Adam has been a potter since the 1980s.
