ZOFIA SULIKOWSKA’S ALBUM PROMOTION

“Zofia Sulikowska from Wojsławice. The Portrait of a Singer” is one of the first album monographs dedicated to a single folk artist. The protagonist in one of the most interesting and acclaimed  traditional village singers from the Lublin region. She has received many awards, including at the festival in Kazimierz. She has also won the Oskar Kolberg Prize. The album contains original wedding songs, carols, religious songs, ballads passed in her family as well as songs she has been learning from the oldest inhabitants of the Chełm poviat.

The album has been produced by Towarzystwo dla Natury I Człowieka and In Crudo.

The programme includes the presentation of the album, recital performed by the protagonist and her students and  guests.
