The Summer School of Traditional Embroidery – field work exhibition

The exhibition presents photographic records collected during field work  that aimed at documenting the work of five traditional embroiderers from selected ethnographic regions of Poland. The exhibition presents the artists that are masters at specific types of embroidery.  Halina Witkowska – Kurpie białe embroidery,  Marianna Dobrowolska – snutka golińska  (from Geater Poland), a type of spider web embroidery, Danuta Niechwiadowicz – Kaszuby embroidery (Żuków school), Zofia Pacan – Opoczno embroidery, Bogumiła Wójcik – Krzczonów embroidery. The exhibition is followed up with movies made during the field works.
