Kurpie paper cut outs

A renowned artist from Kadzidło, descended from one of the oldest families in Kurpie. In her family home she has been taught love and respect for the region that she maintains in her art. Ms Wiesława makes ornaments from crepe paper, cut outs, ritual and decorative art. Her work has appeared at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad, she has won many awards and honours, including Oskar Kolberg Prize in 2008. She is a member of Folk Artists’ Association.
