Handicrafts Fair
Folk artists will present their crafts, exhibiting their handcrafted products at stalls placed in the Old Town. Around 300 artists from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia and Lithuania will take part in the Jagiellonian Fair. The leitmotif of this year’s edition of the Jagiellonian Fair are decorative arts
The Jagiellonian Fair is not just business but, most of all, a presentation of traditional handicrafts and folk art. The stalls will feature, among others, decorative arts, wooden and clay scultpures, folk painting, icons, blacksmiths’ wares, wickerwork and cattail backsets, straw and wire decorations, bobbin lace, embroidery, folk toys, straw hats, Hutsul, Poltava, Lithuanian and Slovak pottery . the richness of the exhibited wares allows us to observe similarities and differences between ethnographic regions
