Marcin Sudziński – born in 1978 in Lublin, apiarist, photographer, cultural animator.
In the years 2009-2015 he worked in the “Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre” Centre in Lublin where he run the photography studio. In 2015 he cleaned nearly 3 thousand negatives from the collection “Faces of the nonexistent city” under the custody of the NN Theatre. In 2013 and 2015 he worked on film productions “Faces of the nonexistent city” and “Zawód fotograf” (Profession: Photographer) directed by Natasza Ziółkowska- Kurczuk in which he acted as the photographer and narrator. He taught photography at Maria Curie Skłodowska University and the Catholic University of Lublin. He is a teacher the Lublin School of Photography, runs photography plein-airs and workshops. Since 2016 he has been employed at the Centre for Culture in Lublin, where he runs a studio of classic photography. He also breeds bees and runs the Urban Artistic Apiary on the roof of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin. He’s organized the educational event in Nopwy Gaj near Nałęczów showing the free way of bees’ life in various forms of beehives. The trail is a part of the project “Złota Gałąź” he is currently working on.
