Katarzyna Zedel – born in Kepno, a musician, ethnomusicologist, teacher, an enthusiast of Gregorian chant and traditional music. She has studied under village musicians from Radom region, including Jan Gaca, Jan Adamczyk, Jan Fokt and Wiesława Gromadzka as well as musicians from the Lublin region: Stanisław Głaz, Leon Krzos and Zbigniew Butryn. The frontwoman of Kapela Zdrowie Pieknych Pań and Katarzynki (until 2014). Currently, she performs with music masters as well as Sekund Hand (Kaśka Rosik and Marta Domachowska). Since 2012, she has been employed at the Museum of Folk Music Instruments in Szydłowiec.
