A statement on SARS-COV-2 | Festivals and current Events
Dear All,
The safety of participants of our events is always a priority for us and the current situation is not an exception. The development of SARS-CoV-2 is dynamic and we carefully monitor how it unfolds, trying to prepare for all sorts of scenarios.
Taking into account the recommendations of the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki concerning the cancellation of mass events, we would like to inform you that the first of the four festivals organised by Workshops of Culture in Lublin is still three months away. Considering that our festivals are still some time away, we hope that by the time they begin, the situation in Poland and the world will have stabilized. That’s why we are not stopping the work on Night of Culture, East of Culture – Different Sounds, Carnaval Sztukmistrzów and The Jagiellonian Fair, but we are also making sure to prepare alternative plans in case the festivals have to be cancelled.
In this difficult moment that touches all aspects of social life around the world, it is important for all of us to be responsible for one another.
