Small Pillow, Embroidered Dream

Folk Embroidery is a beautiful but time-consuming technique of decorating fabrics. In order to get acquainted with the richness of embroidered patterns from Lublin, we will speed up the process by imitating the delicate web of threads using simple forms of lithography and stamping.  Embroidered elements,  taken mostly from female costumes from Biłgoraj will be put into our own project and printed on white pillowcases (small pillows). Circles, ladders, teeth, stars, spirals will embroider your dreams at night and perhaps they will inspire you to take up needle and thread.
